Gardengrips Clog. Color Moss, Size 11.5 Men

All terrain, all weather, all season clog that just starts in the garden. Sheds snow as it does debris. The perfect, useful gift that comes in a gift box.

We express ourselves through our attire. It is really amazing how buttons, the smallest element of our clothing can say so much. The most expressive of all kinds of buttons are novelty buttons. These are buttons based on certain themes; they are either shaped like certain objects or have certain images depicted on them.

Throughout the history of buttons, novelty buttons has represented a variety of themes. The themes are as varied as the human imagination itself; the makers use their ingenuity and create button magic! Most of the novelty buttons are inspired by nature buttons shaped as animals, insects, leaves, flowers and sea-life can really animate apparel. Another popular theme is holiday. Nothing puts you in the holiday mood more than clothes that remind you of the season. Novelty buttons fashioned after Santa Claus, Christmas trees, bells, stars and angels perfectly complement ones new Christmas wear. Similarly buttons shaped as pumpkins bring out the Halloween chills. Professionals also have their share of button fun. Novelty buttons based on different professions are quite popular. Musicians can wear their guitars everywhere and doctors can wear little stethoscopes on their shirts. There are several instances where novelty buttons have been used to voice opinions; novelty buttons with catchy slogans can say it like nothing else can.

Children more than anyone else love to wear cute buttons on their clothing. They are almost little toys for them. Be it cute pink bunnies or little red apples, novelty buttons are a must for childrens clothes.

Novelty buttons not only make clothing livelier but also help you articulate your likes and dislikes. You can wear your attitude by wearing novelty buttons.

Customer Review: I am getting used to them...
I won't give a 5-star review to a rubber shoe that doesn't fit very well. I like these shoes but they have weaknesses. These shoes are just okay. They are cushy on the bottom. I wear a 10.5 D shoe, which means I have a wider foot than average. The heel cup on this shoe is wide and the heel has a tendency to move from side-to-side within it - and there is a tendency because of this to twist the ankle slightly on uneven ground. On even ground the shoe is mostly fine. Your feet will sweat and your socks will get wet because the rubber does not breathe. It is also waterproof. At first the padding around the top did not conform and irritated my achiles tendon area and the sides of my ankles. I seem to be getting over it. The fit and finish of the leather uppers is a little sloppy with a few thread-ends sticking out and frizzing. It's minor but also the sign of a cheaply mass-produced product. Because of the instability of the heel I am a little concerned about walking long distances or doing anything other than light hiking in these. If you do not pronate or suppinate at all you might have no issue with your heel swimming. The tread flexes nicely with the foot and the shoe is comfortable in a front-to-back walk but not fun if walking on uneven terrain - even though the sole is plenty thick and cushy so rocks won't poke your foot.
Customer Review: Lack of size
I own 3 pair of sandals and live in them during warm weather. I would love to buy this shoe but it does not come in Mens size 10. Very disappointing.

There is never a dull moment beneath the grey sulky skies of London. As autumn reins, fashion designer's order books for spring summer 2008 are already closed. In January, the heart of winter fashion designer order books will be open for autumn winter 2008, cycle after cycle. No matter the weather, behind closed doors creative minds are hard at work to stay seasons ahead of demand. In a flurry, pattern cutters and needle crafters construct to designers' specifications, always offering something different and exciting, drawing from the past and present, sometimes futuristic, naturally.

The crossroads of fashion, style infusion, cultures collide as styles are born and sold to world, north, south, east and west. Style; one of Britain's most enduring exports, comedic, music, and clothing merge and emerge from the streets and pubs and make their way to designers drawing boards. An example, Charlie Chaplin, here clothing, comedic and music style emerged. It all began in the music halls of Spitalfield, which grew out of music rooms at the back of pubs. Charlie Chaplin made his first stage appearance in the now demolished Royal Cambridge Music Hall in Commercial Street. The latest trend is for galleries to spring up in cafes and bars, style evolves. Chaplin long gone but his clownish silhouette etched into the minds of millions.

If you want to get an idea of what styles are heading our way, just lurk late night on the streets in Spitalfield, Chelsea etc and watch as people spill out of pubs and clubs at closing time. Take note of what they are wearing. You're at the source of style creation, this is where it starts, on the streets, an opportune time for any designer to gather ideas

The impressionable Beatles did the same in 1964, with Tommy Nutter of Savile Row the military look, skinny ties, fat ties, phycadelic ties, flairs, stove pipe pants, rockers and mods, styles fanatics clashed. Glam rock and Roxy music with Brian Ferry and his dream world of visionary escapism from the dank pit village he was born to escape, Dandyism and then came the sex pistols. Vivienne Westwood emerged from the pile to become one of the most influential designers in British fashion history.

The influences of style and fashion, war, the class system, immigration, wealth, poverty, anarchy, rebellion, sport, climate and agriculture, yes agriculture. Thomas Burberry noticing how local shepherds and farmers wore linen smocks, which were cool in summer and warm in the winter, he attempted to apply the same principles to other clothing. In 1879 he developed a fabric which was weatherproofed in the yarn before weaving, using a secret process and then proofed again in the piece, using the same undisclosed formula. The new material was untearable and weatherproof, whilst cool and breathable. He called the cloth 'gabardine' and registered the word as a trademark. Thomas Burberry opened his own business in 1856 in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Ask anyone in London where is Basingstoke and they will look at you strangely with a frown, ask them who is Thomas Burberry, different story. Basingstoke was and is a back water, but it's on the map and only one and a half hours from London. And how many times since the Beatles demise has the military look been repeated, one more thing, "The Trench Coat"

Who has never heard of Savile Row? Well then go to the back of the class. Designer jeans/dress jeans originated there, thanks to Katherine Hepburn one of many famous advocates. Katherine Hepburn, whose long-term lover Spencer Tracey was a customer of Huntsman, took the extraordinary step of ordering bespoke denim jeans from her late lover's Savile Row tailor. Hepburn's commission foreshadowed bespoke denim collections launched in 2006 by Timothy Everest and Evisu.

Now what about Jaeger? Interesting migration story: Jaegers roots are planted firmly in the mid nineteenth century when a theory expounded by a professor of zoology at the Stuttgart University suggested that humans would be healthier if they dressed in clothes mode only from animal hair, principally wool and avoiding vegetable fibres like cotton and linen. The author of the work was Dr Gustav Jaeger.

Dr Jaeger's book inspired a British accountant called Lewis Tomalin who translated the work into English and published it, convinced that British society should benefit from the Doctor's theories. His theories were then furthered by the opening of a shop in Fore Street London.

Even the London underground is style; a safe haven during the Second World War and the subject of popular song, if you can write about, then sing about it.

This is just the tip of the iceberg, it's cold outside.

Customer Review: My daughter loves these!
I love how comfortable they are on the feet of my very active 2 year old. Even when they were too big for her she wore them and didn't fall. This is a soft material that is also waterproof & durable. My daughter will ONLY wear these shoes if I give her a choice. I had to get them in the next bigger size.

Movado Watch is a renowned watch company whose name denotes "always in motion" in Esperanto. The company started its expedition in 1881 and later went onto become a leading brand in watch manufacturing. It was a small workshop in La Chaux-de-faunds, Switzerland, from where it saw the light of the day. It was the gifted Achille Ditisheim along with the group of his six employees who initiated the grand move to establish Movado Watch.

Initially, the entire fleet of Movado watches was fabricated, accumulated and manufactured by means of hand. Shortly after putting the valiant act on the roll, their stiff effort and grit got the huge and anticipated dividends. By the year 1899, they were rewarded with nearly six "first-class Official Rating Certificates" in their category. The subsequent years came with even better results and they were honored with the 'Silver Medal' at the Universal demonstration in Paris.

By the year 1905, the Movado name had put the company into the reckoning and it had started reaping benefits by the name. To meet the customer's demand and expectation, it embarked onto the path of practicing distinction in the design and utility of the products at disposal. Later years saw them prevailing over their arch rivals at some grand exhibitions: be it the 1910 trade fair in Paris, Rome, Brussels or Rio de Janeiro. They convincingly brought the glory for themselves by launching of 8 Ligne wristwatch collections. The bringing in of the "Polyplan watch" in the year of 1912, almost created havoc and stunned the entire watch community. These watches were so outstanding that they are exceedingly hunted nowadays at any watch auction.

Movado Digital Watch was launched in the year 1930. At the same time, the Calendomatic, exhibiting month and day markers on the dial, was rolled into the market in 1946 to capture the whole market at one go. The unique "Museum Watch" which displayed a solo dot at the number 12 on the dial, took the market by storm. This inimitable characteristic of the watch symbolized innovation unheard of before. It was profoundly accepted as well as preferred to be put as an enduring set in the "Museum of Modern Art" in the year 1969. It was the result of the teaming up with designers of the likes of Andy Warhol, who collaborated with the production process of "one-of-a-kind watches", which are now an integral feature of museums, galleries, and watch collections.

Presently, Movado Watch is revisiting its splendid past by introducing the KingMatic series. This series of watches were initially launched in the 1950's. The current KingMatic is made of stainless steel and sapphire crystals and is water defiant. Movado commemorated its 125th year of watch making only last year. In the midst of its resounding watches, put in the museum collections roughly all over the world, Movado Watch has created a huge impact and left its mark of triumph on the world. Its recurrent exposure in celebrated publications further complements the saga of its achievements.

Presently, the company's watches make use of both quartz and mechanical movements in their timepieces and also markets other luxury watch brands like Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste and many more.

Felt is said to be the oldest of all manmade materials, produced by the simple but laborious process of pressing together wool water and soap. Old scraps of felt have been discovered dating back almost 9000 years, predating weaving with origins in the Neolithic period. Felt is as relevant today as it always has been with a wide and versatile range of uses including, as a dampener in the automotive industry, decorations, clothing, childrens toys, in drum kits, pianos, assorted musical instruments and billiards tables. But it is perhaps its older and more traditional uses that hold the most allure for the collector. Historically felt was and still is used as a source of warmth and shelter being made into shoes, hats, clothes, tent coverings, doors, blankets, rugs and votive images.

Felt has long been used between the Balkans and Mongolia where it has played an important role in the lives of many nomadic peoples. In Anatolia in central Turkey felt is thought to have been made since the Hittite kingdom (14th century BC) as wall carvings have been found in the Hittite cities of both Bogazky and Yazilikaya picturing people wearing felt caps and clothing. In the Taurus mountain regions in Turkey shepherds still wear the curious stiff felt cloaks called kepenek designed to protect them from the elements, both the winter cold and the summer sun. Felt is also still used in Anatolian regions to make blankets, rugs, mats and hats not to mention the tall conical hats (sikke) worn by the Mevlevi dervishes. Felt in Anatolia represents a seventeen thousand year old tradition of utilizing this most practical and useful of materials.

In the central Asian republics there is also a long and considerable tradition of using felt as an important day to day material. Kyrgyzstan is a notable example of a place where the use of felt is still very relevant today. Kyrgyz culture is historically nomadic with connections to the infamous Mongol hordes. The women in Kyrgyzstan are traditionally the felt makers and still make boots, slippers, kalpak hats and the splendid shyrdak rugs. The Kyrgyzstani shyrdak rugs are famous for their bright contrasting colours and symbolic motifs traditionally used as floor coverings in yurts and exchanged as presents on special occasions. Now the Kyrgyzstani felt industry is very much directed towards export and a small but functional tourism industry, and the manufacture of traditional shyrdak rugs has moved on to a new age whilst still maintain its roots and cultural relevance. The shyrdak is made by stitching two contrasting coloured bits of felt together, a pattern is then marked on the top layer in chalk and the painstakingly and laboriously cut out with the felt maker frequently sharpening the knife which will blunt quickly. This creates a stunning positive/negative style visual image usually full of symbolic motif images that represent things around them i.e. the water, goat horns a yurt etc. The felt that is cut from the top layer is not wasted and is used to create another mirror image shyrdak with the reverse colours of the original shyrdak.

Felt is a material of history of the present and the future and represents mankinds ability to interact with his natural environment in a more healthy and unassuming way, sourcing a useful and harvestable raw material (wool) and harnessing its energies to make everything from a place to live to a cloak to protect you from the harsh elements of the Asian steppes. Felt is more relevant today than ever historically before as it symbolize are ability to live together in unity with nature.

Easy Custom Jeans

Designing your own jeans is the best way to express your personality and sense of style. Have you ever tried on jeans that fit great, but aren't what you are looking for? Have you ever found the perfect style of jeans, but they don't fit well? Here is the answer; find the jeans that fit right and make them into the style that screams your personality. I have a sure way to make any jeans look the way you want, as long as they fit. Take your old jeans that you love and revive them with your current style. Its easy and it is actually fun!

To start customizing your own denim you only need one tool. It is called a Dremel, and it will change your life. Trust me, I am not affiliated with this company but it is an amazing tool for many different applications. It is a high speed, ,low torque drill that has many different attachments for grinding. These attachments are important because these let you customize how your jeans will look. You can use anything that is a substitute of this tool as well, but a Dremel is the industry standard. With this tool I will take you through the steps to make the most fashionable jeans that cannot be bought for any price. I have altered many pairs of jeans and I get asked all the time "Where did you get those jeans?"

First, find a brand that you love...that fits perfectly. It should be designer, but you can use any brand you like. The more custom a jean is, the more expensive. So we are going to target buying a designer jean like Seven or Diesel in their most basic form. This may cost $80-$120 but it is well worth it if you are fashion conscious. Gap jeans are still a great alternative. When you have a color and fit that you like you can begin the process of elevating you look.

Next, is your research. Look at jeans that you love and study what makes them fashionable. Where are they faded and ripped? This is important because you will be doing this yourself. Also keep in mind what you would do differently when you look at a pair of designer jeans. You will be in control of your exact look. Designers have to make a line to fit many different tastes. You are making clothes to fit your taste, which is unique.

Take the jeans that you love and make sure you launder them first. Laundering you clothes ensures that the fit is correct. Now you can take your Dremel and use a wide sandpaper attachment. Turn it on to about 2000-3000 rpms and start roughing up the front pockets edge. This is a great place to start because you always want a distressed look on the pockets, and it will give you a feel for how the tool distresses your denim. Be very light as you touch the fabric with the Dremel. You can always distress more, but you cannot undo what is done already. Then you are ready to distress the back pockets. Go around the edge of the back pockets to give them a worn feel. Make any distresses around the back that you may like.

It is important that you remember to be light with you pressure. A Dremel works because it spins so fast. Let the tool do the work. When you are pressing on an open area like the knees, go though until you see the horizontal threads. You can open up more at the knees, but most areas you still want coverage. Also remember to do the edges of the bottom of your jeans. This is very important because any distressed denim is first faded at the bottom of the leg unless it is cropped to a shorter length. The key is to have high impact areas distressed first and then to add the touches that you see fit. This is a great way to save money, have fun and to have clothing that is unique as your style.

Customer Review: crocs
I never received this item. So I'm not able to review it. The company has never answered me back rather or not they will give me my money back or give me another pair. They were shipped to Springfield, IL is all I know and I never did receive them. My address was good but on the tracking information they said it was not a good address. I know if the company does not give me my money back or another pair of Crocs I will never order from them. Because I don't have these shoes that I ordered.
Customer Review: Awesome sandals!
I love these sandals - they give plenty of support and are so comfortable! I wear them everywhere, all the time, all year long. I dislike closed shoes so they're great in the rain. Also wear them right into the ocean! I can walk in them for hours and my feet feel great! I have multiple pairs of them in different colors in case they decide to discontinue them as is usually the case: if something is popular, then it must be time to discontinue!

What are high quality boots? We know brand names that are associated with quality for example Doc Martins. In the past they have been so well thought of that the police and the military have used them. We all know this, if not consciously, then unconsciously. The name Doc Martins is another word for excellent footwear.

But how do we really know that they are good quality. We are basically relying on there reputation and probably don't study the seam and the weight of the boot itself. It's a pair of Docs so why not buy them. Everyone else does. This article is going to give a brief overview of what to look for when buying high quality boots.

First all have a look at the heel. The boot may look very nice from the top with just the style you are looking for, but a real quality boot will have a leather heel. If you look closely at the heel you can see that the leather is stacked. This is a mark of quality. Cheaper shoes tend to have laminated heels.

The stitching is also a major factor. We all know the famous yellow stitching of Doc Martins, yet if we look closely at this stitching we will see it is very intricate, and if weren't for the color would hardly be noticeable. Cheaper shoes tend to have bigger stitching that not only looks unattractive but also comes apart after a short space of time. Boots don't have to be perfect. The main aim for a shoemaker is to get it to fit the feet. That's where the real quality comes in.

So by far the best way to check the quality of the boot is to try it on. But don't just sit there admiring the style, walk around the shop. A good quality shoe or boot should be comfortable. There should be absolutely no rubbing on your feet and you should feel support on the ankles.

Remember though to think why you are buying the shoes. They maybe of fantastic quality, but if you buy Doc Martins for mountain climbing they just won't last. Hiking boots are best for this and for these you maybe looking for slightly different features. For example grip and cushioning.

If you want quality shoes you will mostly like have to pay a lot of money for them. Real boot makers no doubt make the best quality handmade shoes. You can also get excellent quality in specialist shops that have a small client focus. Shops like this tend to try and attract people that want quality, so have a look. Discount shoe shops will not necessarily be of the highest quality, but this in the cheap prices.

Customer Review: Great for my Mom!
This item was intended for my Mom on Mother's Day, it arrived in time and the product was of excellent quality. The Crocs this seller has are the ones made in Canada, not the bad quality Taiwan made ones. Thank you for helping in making my Mom happy.

Do you live in a jungle or a city? They can be much the same thing! The streets of big cities are often described as jungles. It would be surprising if endangered citizens could not pick up some success, survival and self protection tips from jungle survivors.

Crocodile Dundee, the film hero who survived crocodile and gang attacks in the Australian outback, also managed to survive in style in New York! Dundee's character is based on the true story of Rod Ansell who survived for seven weeks in the Australian outback after his small boat overturned.

He lost his supplies and equipment but accepted the tough situation without whingeing. He had to show ingenuity and will power to survive. Eventually he was rescued by bushmen.

You may ask what survival has to do with success. The answer is clear. No one can succeed if they are dead, eaten alive or battered into a coma. To succeed you may have to face up to death and violent assaults. You may have to confront reality and be able to look for answers without giving up. It also helps if you can stay healthy and fit.

Bear Grylls, the survival expert, was dropped recently into the Lower Zambesi river below the Victoria falls from a helicopter in the rainy season. Ten foot waves came at him. He dived into them almost head butting them into submission to avoid being battered by them.

In a self-defense situation, it is often wiser to move in and attack the attacker. If you dodge around trying to avoid his attacks without counter attacking immediately, you will probably end by being beaten up or killed.

The famous saying that the best form of defense is attack makes good sense. Attack and you may well succeed in surviving and making a success of the life you have saved. Make your attacker worry about being hurt rather than allowing him to take his time hurting you.

Don't shy away from problems. Spend time facing up to them one by one and finding solutions. Tackle them head on with confidence, patience and even aggression. Stay with one problem until it is solved.

Once on dry land, Bear came across leopard tracks. Leopards will kill anything from dung beetles to humans. Bear found the remains of an impala which had probably been killed by a leopard. Leopards eat in the morning and evening and leave what is left.

Bear ate some of the meat raw: "This would be safer cooked but this is not the time or place to light a fire." The hyenas would soon arrive to eat up all the remains. Every scrap of the impala would be gone by next morning.

The self-defense lesson is obvious. Don't hang around in an area where dangerous creatures are likely to be close. The best form of self-defense is not to be there. Eat your food raw or leave it and get out of Dodge.

One of my best martial arts students went into a caf where an enemy was also having a meal. Instead of leaving at once, he stayed and started to eat. He did not notice that his enemy had sent his girl friend out to his car to fetch a knuckle duster.

As he walked past my student on the way out, this freshly armed man side swiped him with the knuckle duster. For the sake of staying put in a potentially dangerous place to finish his meal, my student ended up in hospital.

There are about 75,000 crocodiles in the Zambesi river. Some baby crocs get swept over the Victoria Falls, survive and grow huge in the area below. There are roughly five crocs every two miles.

Don't drink from the same place twice. Crocodiles watch you the first time and may get you the second time. In the city, try not to travel along the same route twice. Criminals may be studying your habits and deciding the best time and place to attack or kidnap you. They are the crocs of the street.

Bear caught a cat fish in the river and commented: "I moved a little back from the water. There are not only fish in the river. Always face the river when fishing. The attack will come from that direction."

Crocs usually attack at night so you should be fairly safe in the day time, but don't take any chances. Always be aware of the possibility of attack and where it is most likely to come from.

Crocs are kings of camouflage and can move with lightning speed so don't get close to the edge of the water. Give yourself enough space to escape. In the street, do not allow strangers to get too close. If necessary, step back or tell them to stay where they are. If they are only a few feet away from you, they can easily stick a knife into you. Action is faster than reaction.

Crocodiles are not the most dangerous animals around. Hippos are. There are many hippos along the lower Zambesi. They are thought to kill more people than lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants and leopards together.

Don't be fooled by their jolly image. Some of the most horrendous serial killers, like Ted Bundy, were good looking and plausible. Some, like Albert Fish, were loved and admired by their families. Don't trust any one you are not sure about however pleasant they seem to be.

Happy looking hippos can become four ton monsters. They are responsible for 200 deaths a year in Africa. They are fiercely territorial and protective of their young. They will attack anything they think is a threat. They kill many people by capsizing their boats.

Learn about what triggers anger in a potential enemy and avoid provoking them unless you want to test your skills at the risk of your life or a jail sentence.

At one point, Bear climbed up a rocky incline. You should keep on the dryer parts of any path you take to avoid slipping. Balance and staying on your feet are important for survival. If you end up on the concrete, even casual passer bys may take a kick at you.

Just falling on to a hard service can injure you badly. Many elderly people die soon after a fall. Wear shoes that won't trip you up. I nearly fell over this morning when my slippers caught on a step!

Bear spent some time in the bush away from the river. Out there, you need to pick your camp site carefully. He found a hollow tree but animals, like wart hogs, might already be living there and there was no easy escape route.

One reason for making money is to give yourself choices about where you live. You do not want to live in a dodgy part of the city any more than you would want to live in the kind of hollow tree described above.

Bear chose another tree to camp beside - a bayabab tree. He created a ladder up the tree to help him escape if necessary. He carved wooden spikes and hammered them into the tree. These would help him climb the tree at speed if necessary. They had saved a friend when his camp was attacked by buffalo.

Make sure you have one or more escape routes in your own house and test them out before you have to use them in a panic situation. Don't get stuck in a window like King Charles I at Carisbrooke Castle in 1648. He was executed not long after this incident.

Learning how to cook your food well and how to select healthy food is an important part of self-protection, survival and success. Being a good cook is a success skill worth learning!

Bear knew when his fire was the right heat - when he could hold his hand over the fire for about 5 seconds. This meant that the fire was at the right amount of heat for cooking his catfish thoroughly without spoiling it.

Knowing how to light a fire for food and warmth and to frighten off predators at night is very important. In the city, leave a light on and set up an alarm system. Have a weapon near your bed if you know how to use it.

Next day, Bear threw sticks to bring down bayabab fruit. This tastes like dried up cheese cake. It is a staple food across Africa and is full of vitamin C. Eating in a healthy way gives you the energy and freedom from sickness which can accelerate your success.

After eating, Bear headed for the mountains. He believed in getting on the move early before the heat and humidity could take their toll. Getting up early is not essential for success but it can help. My granddad was always up at 6 a.m. getting work done while others slept on.

Water is essential so Bear tied his shirt round one knee and walked through the long grass to attach the dew to the shirt. He stopped every now and then and wrung out the water into his mouth. You can pick up a quarter of a litre of dew in a couple of hours in this way. Resourcefulness is a key element of success. Use whatever tools you have available.

In the rainy season, animals don't have to stick close to the water. This makes a dangerous surprise more likely. Both in the jungle and in the city, you need to stay aware and be on the look out for a possible attack.

About eighty elephants and then several impala appeared and disappeared. The presence of elephants suggested that there was a watering hole nearby. Elephants can be as tall as thirteen foot and weigh as much as eight tons.

Ten people a year are trampled or gored by elephants. They will attack if they think their young are threatened. The first sign of danger is that they flap their ears and grunt. They can run at nearly twenty miles an hour. They have bad eyesight but have a great sense of smell. Keep down wind to stay safe.

Be aware of the signs that someone is about to attack you. Get away quickly or, if you think they can run faster than you, strike them first. Understand their motives for attacking so you can avoid making them angry in the first place.

Bear next searched out a giant edible bull frog in a pool. He found one with big front teeth and used a branch from a wait-a-bit bush (an acacia or other bush with hooked thorns) to snare it without getting bitten.

He caught the frog after one or two attempts and commented: "And that's dinner!" He ate the meat of the legs and then the breast meat after burning the skin off: "If you're French, you'd love this!"

When you have a fire and something to eat, you feel like sleeping but you can't go to sleep in the bush. Every bone in your body wants you to relax and sleep but you can't. You don't know what animals are lurking in the grass. You need to keep your senses alert.

You can't fall asleep in city streets without risking being mugged or even set alight! You may have to keep on the move even when you are exhausted.

Bear next ate some caterpillar like worms but soon began to feel ill. Within hours he had diarrhea. You need to bury diarrhea before it attracts predators. You do not want to face predators just when you are at your weakest.

In the city, it helps to stay healthy, fit and preferably young! Many criminals, just like jungle predators, prey on the sick and old although the smell of diarrhea is unlikely to attract them!

Dehydration is a big threat especially if you have stomach trouble. You have to keep drinking. Bear found a stream and lit a fire to boil the water. He cut a pocket from his rucksack to use as a strainer and added some charcoal from his fire to absorb the toxins

You don't have to boil water for ages. Just get it boiling and then it is good enough to drink according to modern thinking. What you drink is even more important than what you eat. Drunks are not usually successful for long.

If you are ill, stay by a stream so you have plenty of water to keep you hydrated. Bear's stream led to a rock face. A lot of rock climbing is about finding a line of weakness in the rock face. He found a promising line in the rocks and started to climb.

Bear commented: "I need to use all the strength I have to climb. At times like this, survival is all about will power." Success too is about will power and keeping going. Louis Pasteur said: "Let me tell you the secret that has led me to my goal. My strength lies solely in my tenacity."

Halfway up the rock face, Bear felt sick and exhausted. Getting to the top was going to be a battle. At sixty foot up, he had to let out the diarrhea which was not waiting for anyone. Every time you do this you become weaker as you let out more water. He felt better but diarrhea makes you lose forty times more water than normal.

At the top of the rock face he found a pool he could take a dip in - pure heaven. No more climbing now. These Zambian hills were here when all the continents of the world were joined together. They are ten million years older than the Himalayas. Successful people appreciate the pleasures and sights they meet up with along the way: "What is life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare?"

Help was on its way in the shape of a helicopter. Bear made a signal fire so the pilot could locate him. He created a pyramid structure with air underneath the base of the fire. You must be able to get a signal fire going very quickly. Rake your hand through the undergrowth and you will be left with the dry stuff which will catch fire quickly.

Bear placed green branches and leaves at the top of the fire to make the smoke which would bring in the chopper. Get it right and your signal fire should be seen for miles around.

If under attack, you must be able to phone for help immediately. Make sure you have a mobile phone in case your home land lines are cut. You may only have one chance at rescue. Bear now saw his rescue party in the distance:

"That's the heli. The chopper has seen me. It is heading in and I'm out of here."

Bear had seen Africa at its most beautiful and at its most dangerous and wild. He also taught us some powerful tips about how to survive and thrive in both the jungle and the city.

Above all be aware, stay awake and keep healthy and on the move even if you have to use all your will power to do so. Those who do this may stay alive long enough to be a success!

I am sure that you have heard of boat shoes, it is a broad term used to describe a huge segment of the footwear industry. Most of us are familiar with those made by the Sperry Company that have made the word topsiders a household name. Native Americans can probably be credited with the original design that shoe makers have adopted and made into the boat shoes of today. Boat shoes today have may similar characteristics of the moccasins that they wore when on the water.

As time went on the boat shoe evolved to become to become a very popular and stylish shoe for the wealthy and affluent that would be seen wearing them on the decks of their yachts. In the fashion world they are classified in between casual and formal. Boat shoes today of course are worn by people who dont even own a boat or may not even go boating just because they are so stylish. With that said many people wonder what the proper environment or situation is for wearing boat shoes. Boat shoes are not really designed for business casual, loafers really should be the shoe of choice for this. Boat shoes are more for a casual sporty look.

Boat shoes are by their very nature, tough and durable due to their original intended use being for wearing on wet ship decks. Still, you need to maintain them properly to keep them in shape and make them last long. The best thing to do is to put oil on them that is especially made for leather and will help to guard against the moisture just as they were designed to. You also should remove the insoles regularly and keep them sprayed with a shoe cleaner that guards against fungus.

The first thing you will want to look for in a boat shoe is a solid sole that will be very durable and guard against slipping, this is good not only for the deck of a boat but for just everyday wear as well. You want to be sure that they fit your foot well and are comfortable so be sure to try on different styles and brands to see what type fits your foot best, even if you intend to make your final purchase online.

Boat shoes of high quality can be expensive so bear that in mind as you shop. If you go for some value priced pair of boat shoes you will probably be disappointed and the quality will be sorely lacking. A good pair will set you back a hundred bucks or so but they will last virtually forever.

Crocs Nanook Shoes Kids

Authentic & brand new in box, Nanook, Kids Crocs.

With the advent of increasing consumer choice and the explosion in online shopping, sale time in the High Street can produce bargains formerly beyond our wildest dreams. No longer are the top designs beyond the reach of the ordinary man in the street. Consumer power is prevailing!

To keep up, stores need to move old stock and make way for the new. Things that havent shifted need to be sold or moved on as soon as possible. Space in a physical store which is taken up by non-moving goods, amounts to space which is not only not earning money for the retailer but also is preventing the input of newer, more saleable fashions.

Its a recipe for disaster and shops know this. Luckily, for consumers, the problem sways in our favour!

As stock becomes a burden, one of two things can happen. Either the outlet has a sale the extent of which is determined by consumer drive and the likelihood of a sale. Or stock is moved en masse to outlet stores designed to house and display designer goods and sell direct to the public at cut-down prices.

Of course, you may not find exactly what you want your size may be missing, the colours may be different to your wishes. But bargains are sure to be had, with anything up to 90% off retail prices.

Those scared of missing out on the latest fashions and being left with last-years cast-offs, can take heart in the fact that many of the lines of stock are only just a few months old. Even in the fashion world, things dont change that quickly at least, not for the average man-in-the-street

There are many advantages to choosing a designer prom dress. This event only happens once in your life, and you will want to remember it.

Designer prom dresses are the most appropriate choice if you don't want to end up with the same dress as the other girls at the prom. You want to look different from anyone else, with a dress that is not like anything you have ever seen. Hearing other people talk about you when you have the prettiest dress at the prom is something that you will enjoy. A lot of designers create only one dress in each color. This way, you can wear an original dress and look very beautiful.

The prom, again, is not an everyday event, so you want to look better than the other girls at your prom. Designer prom dresses are a better choice than other dresses because they are beautiful. You will have the time of your life and everybody will recall the dress you wore. You and your date will look splendid together no matter what color you pick out.

No matter the design you choose, there's a designer out there who makes that kind of dress. The large number of prom dress designers allows for a variety to pick from. If you want to party all night, you can find a short cocktail dress that really rocks. You can also get glamorous dresses in longer lengths. Whatever your style needs, a top designer has filled them.

If you need to have a dress specially sized for you because you have a hard time finding clothes that fit just right, you should definitely think about designer prom dresses. Some designers will even take your unique measurements to make absolutely certain that the dress fits you like a glove. You don't have to be concerned with whether or not your dress will fit you.

There are a lot of designer dresses created by Tiffany, Sean, Xcite, Jovani, Mori Lee, and others. Nothing will make you feel worse than noticing another girl at the prom with the same dress that you have, particularly if the dress looks better on her than it does on you! A designer prom dress can be unique, meaning that your dress will stand out from the crowd. This is the only chance you have to attend your prom, so you should have the prettiest dress you can find.

Paige Mastingten has a fashion sense like no other. She knows where to find prom dresses and quinceanera dresses on short notice for discount prices. In fact, according to Paige, cheap prom dresses are the only way to go when you are buying designer.

crocs Toddler/Little Kid Nadia Boot

Give her all the protection that she needs in a name that you trust with the Nadia boot from crocs. Its durable manmade sole and vamp will cover her little piggies while the fabric shaft and faux fur trim not only adds an adorable look, but will give her all the warmth that she needs while she tromps around in the cold weather.
Customer Review: Comfortable and Adorable
I recently bought the Nadia for my daughter considering she has had Ugg's. She wanted to try these because she loves Crocs. They are just the cutest things and my daughter said they are "super " comfortable and they keep her feet warm. However though, the boot section is not lined with fur. This is probably the only con to the boots but its a stretch. This is all my daughter wants to wear. I got her khaki and will probably get her black or brown for Christmas. A lot of mothers at her school have asked me about the new "croc boots", they just need to ask my daughter about them. The problem is she would probably drive them crazy because of how much she loves them.

I have, over the past couple of months, put the new Carroll Shelby Suede Driving Shoe through an aggressive wear and use test and have been truly impressed by the results to date. A definite advantage to being director of a performance driving school is a level of credibility you can establish with automotive related product manufacturers.

The shoe design was supervised and approved by International Driving Champion, Tony Adamowicz. I compared the shoe to my regular competition driving shoe and a well known casual driving shoe. The first reactions were mostly visual. The Shelby shoe, from the style of the rubber molded sole to the overall shape, color and detail trim of the upper was a real grabber. Almost, every time I wore them, with jeans, casual slacks or my driving suit, I got unsolicited comments. The close up inspection only added to the initial reaction. The shoe has a leather lined, removable cushion sole that, not only slightly molded to the shape of my foot during wear, but enhanced pedal feel when driving. My usual driving shoe is terribly uncomfortable to walk in, but my feeling had always been that the thin sole helped with pedal feel. Reality was, that, in addition to letting me walk in them all day, the cushion sole actually enhanced the feel. Comfort and quality throughout. The underside of the tongue and the inside heel section all lined with very soft leather. Continuing with the visual examination showed tight, even stitching, no glue spots and perfectly attached faux carbon fiber trim. One of the most interesting features was a molded heel compartment that, unlike my casual driving style shoe, keeps your heel from wobbling when driving or standing.

I wore the Shelby shoes for walking and driving 10 to 12 hours a day, an average of 3 days a week for nearly two months. The performance tire style sole design provided firm skid resistant contact with both floors and pedals. There was a bare minimum of visual wear and cleaning with a suede brush or a damp cloth only took a few seconds. This product can easily be found through use of a search engine.

Sandals have been around for a long time and are probably one of the oldest types of footwear in existence. Sandals do not apply to a particular class of people; in ancient times slaves as well as kings wore them equally. The sandal is still a popular choice in the footwear industry but a lot of people do not have the knowledge needed to choose sandals that fit properly. It is easy to tell if regular shoes fir properly because they are enclosed and you can feel how far you toe is from the end of the shoe. The proper fit of a pair of sandals can be a little harder to determine.

Sandals come a great variety of styles and looks just like other types of footwear some are best for the beach and some may even be made specifically for a certain sport such as hiking or even beach volleyball. It is essential that you take the time to make sure that the sandals you choose fit well so that you will be comfortable and not harm your feet.

As with other footwear you should first look for support in sandals. The arch of your foot is very important and needs to be protected when wearing sandals just as when you are wearing regular closed shoes. Find a shoe that will support the arch properly because this is what helps you walk in the most efficient manner possible and maintain your posture.

With sandals the sole should be a little larger than the actual size of your foot so that your toes or heel do not hang over the sides. Many sandals will have a form fitting sole and in order for this to occur as it should you will want to be sure that there is enough room for this process to occur.

You should also choose a think sole for a pair sandals since that is the only thing that is coming between you and the pounding pavement. You look for this in other shoes and sandals are no different. It is the sole of the shoe that absorbs the energy from the pounding of your feet on the ground.

So lets wrap it up. Always be concerned with making sure you have the right arch support so that your feet will be as healthy as possible and not tire easily. Be sure that the sole is oversized a bit so that your feet have room to mold them and be sure that the sole is thick to absorb the shock of repeated footstrikes.

Do you wish that you could pay less when you shop at UK shoe stores? The answer to saving money is to concentrate your efforts on finding shoes more cheaply online.

In some senses, this may seem like obvious advice. After all, many people are aware of the fact that a large number of products can be bought more cheaply using the internet.

Given that this is the case, it almost seems startling that consumers would still opt to use high street stores. There are a number of reasons why the high street still retains such popularity.

Some of the reasons centre upon familiarity. If you've been buying your shoes in one or two shops for a number of years then it's not particularly surprising that you would continue to do so.

There's also the undoubted feeling that it's nice to try shoes on before committing to buying them. We like to know that they'll look good and will also be comfortable.

How could we achieve that without visiting a store? Fortunately, many online retailers now offer extremely flexible returns policies.

The advantage of such policies is that we can purchase a pair of shoes from a popular online retailer, such as Clifford James. We can then try the shoes on in the comfort of our own home.

If the footwear is not up to scratch then we can simply return the product to the retailer, without having to pay.

This has removed some of the concerns about online shoe shopping and is helping to drive the growth in this sector.

If that growth continues then more and more UK consumers will be paying less for their shoes and accessories.

Make sure that you don't miss out - you could be saving money by purchasing online.

Use discounts at Clifford James shoes to save you money, as discussed by Keith Barrett. This article may be used by any website publisher, though this resource box must always be included in full.

Texas Longhorns Burnt Orange/Grey Athens Flip Flops Crocs

Everywhere you go, show your team spirit with these comfy Athens flip flop crocs!

If you are a woman like me, you are constantly asking yourself, how can I get just the right mix of city sass and everyday comfort and practicality in my shoes? Well I'm here to tell you all about my two favorite new pairs of shoes. One is a Dansko clog. Mary jane style, brownish black to match my mascara- what I love about this ambiguous, versitile color is that you can pull it off with black OR brown outfit and it matches both! Talk about a two for one. And they are soooo comfy AND classy that I can wear them at the office, where I have to be on my feet alot, and they are just as comfortable as wearing crocs or merrills, with the added classy touch of leather. We are talking quality footwear. Dansko, the daring danish drop kick of all casual footwear. Where did they come up with this? Well, a unique Danish clog was discovered by husband and wife team, Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, in a tiny Denmark shop in the late 1980's. The shoe took them by storm and they secured the exclusive rights to the design in 1991, when Dansko, Inc. was born. Within a few years, word had spread and you can now find many lines of Dansko footwear in retail shops worldwide as well as a multitude of online shoes retailers. Get to the shoe store! Oh, and you should all know by now, I'm gonna talk about boots. did I mention the knee high black walking boots they make?? FIERCE.

Now onto my second favorite new pair women's dress shoes. Cole Haan! I scored these insanely exquisite pair of leopard print flats by Cole Haan, and yes, I'm getting away with it at the office AND on the dance floor. Never heard of them? Cole Haan shoes have a long lasting reputation for quality, craftsmanship, service and style, with long line of products for men and women. In addition to footwear, Cole Haan also manufactures jewelry, handbags, outerwear, belts and hosiery. Currently a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nike, Inc., Cole Haan products are available globally in the finest retail stores and online distributors. When talking quality and discount shoes, enough can not be said about Cole Haan. Their clogs are also completely sweet. They make stretch mule walking shoes, too, for the more athletic days. And of course there is a great men's line too, if you're looking to do some christmas shopping. When browsing for online shoes, look for style, comfort and quality. Try to find a good source for cheap shoes, with a good selection of casual shoes and cheap boots. I'm telling you, a great pair of clogs are a must have for winter fashion survival. If you don't have a good pair of ugg boots and at least a couple different colors of clogs, you should really invest now before the best stuff gets bought up. The secret is out! And ladies, we should be celebrating- the hottest new shoes are actually comfortable. Furry boots, clogs, flats. Yes! You won't catch me in those old blister giving old fashion heels. So pas-e!Unless of course it's halloween and I'm dressed up like a witch.

Customer Review: If you don't like Flip Flops
I don't like Flip Flops. If I wanted a sandle that straps completly around my foot I would wear shoes. These are a great third choice. They are comfortable, adjustable and surprisingly rugged. I realy like the close toe design of the off-road style. On the beach they don't soak up water and squish around, also I can quickly rinse them off and shake them dry. They are a great vacation and around the house "clog".
Customer Review: The most incredible shoe ever
To an extent, Crocs are Crocs - everyone has a pair. These, however, seem to be a bit unique. Not many stores carry them and I rarely ever see anyone who have this pair. They are absolutely the most comfortable show I've ever had. I've even purchased 5 pair and stored them in my closet in case they stop making them one day - I love the color, fit, etc. As an avid trail runner, I always keep a pair in my car to change into after a good run, race, etc.

Citizen watches first came to the public's attention in 1924. Up to then watches tended to be heavy objects that were fashionable ornaments as much as they were practical items used to tell the time. Citizen watches changed all that by creating a new brand that was thin and light on the wrist as well as having the added benefit of looking good. And what a success they were.

In a few years they became one of the biggest selling watches in history and continue to sell well today.
The reason they have achieved such a niche in the market is due to their quality. A quality that has never diminished, despite the ever growing competition and the temptation to appeal to a broader market.
Secondly they are one of those rare companies that are not afraid to take risks. In a world where major co-operations continue to regurgitate the same old thing, Citizen is intent on reinventing the market. They just won't sit on their laurels, taking the meaning of the word citizen to the extreme.

When Citizen first got going in 1930 there aim seemed to be the first watch company to do everything. They wanted to wipe out the competitive by being inventive. It was the Citizen that first introduced shock resistance to their watches. Up to then watches were easily broken and as a result few people paid out their hard earned cash unless they could afford to replace or fix them. An image of people in expensive suits pulling a pocket watch out of their breast pocket is what springs to mind. Citizen managed to bring watches to the poorer classes by making them more durable.

Later on Citizen made the first professional diving watch. This watch was not only waterproof but featured an electronic depth sensor. Nowadays this is seen on many brands of watches yet it was Citizen who first put them into the market place.

There latest innovation is perhaps the most impressive. It is called the Eco Drive System and as the name suggest it an environmentally friendly watch, using an inbuilt solar panel instead of batteries. Again this is now used by many watch companies, none of them with the originality of citizen. No doubt they will continue with this line while citizen thinks up something else. In fact this seems to be the pattern in the watch world, no one really moving on until Citizen do.

All this has made the company one of the biggest and richest in the world. Today it employs three thousand people continuing to search for new ways to develop the wristwatch. Long may it continue.

BEAGLE Dog Shoe Doodle Charm fits Crocs Shoes & Other Rubber Clogs - just like Jibbitz Toys For Your Shoes

Introducing Shoe-Doodles the fun new accessory for your rubber clogs or Crocs shoes!  These small grommets are a great way to customize your shoes.  Simple and easy to install, just push through the holes on top of the Beach or Cayman model Crocs and get an instant new look.  Made from sturdy rubberized plastic.  Be sure to get plenty to mix and match. This is a small item and is not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

Shawls are no longer limited for use during only the cold winter months. They have become fabulous ways of spicing up your winter outfits. Men and women could take advantage of the trendy and fashionable look of shawls to enhance and improve their appearances.

You could also go for the shorter variations of shawls that are lifted from Indo-Western styles that could be draped around your arms or around the neck, much like scarves. And the good thing about them is that you can now buy them online.

Before you start buying shawls on the web, you should be equipped with a fairly good knowledge about them. Shawls are primarily made using one or more types of wool, fibers, shahtoosh and pashmina. Wool would be the most affordable, while the shahtoosh ones are very expensive. The price of pashmina types would fall somewhere in the middle. Pashmina would be the second lightest fiber in the three. Shahtoosh and pashmina shawls surprisingly provide great warmth and comfort.

Kashmiri shawls are created by skilled craftsmen of Kashmir and are considered the ones with the best quality. These shawls are very warm and light. The wool that is used to create this kind of shawl is hand-woven and hand-printed because the fabric is too fragile to be sewn on by a machine. If you have a big budget, pashmina would be the most appealing but if you have a limited budget, cashmere shawls, which are a little less expensive, would suffice.

Shawls are also decorated with various motifs. The pattern, which is extensively used, would be crochet shawl patterns. There are also shawls available that showcase designs featuring the great mythological battles, flower themes and a lot more.

Have you browsed through a lot of online shopping stores to buy unique products on the web? SalwarKameezIndia.com offers a great collection of apparel and Indian jewelry items especially rings and necklaces for sale. There are more than 3000 unique items to buy including saris, salwars, skirts, lehnga choli, shoes, kurtas, pyjamas, tunics, tops, trousers, lingerie, camisoles, bollywood dresses, handicrafts, cushion covers, embroidered fashion accessories at this web store offering hassle-free purchase with free delivery anywhere in the world. This is the best shop if you want to buy reversible shawls or buy pashmina shawls online
